This painting was inspired by a morning when I went to our creek about an hour before sunrise. The snow was coming down hard enough when I first walked down there that I could not see more than 2' in front of me. At dawn the snow slowed down to a peaceful steady flow. If you look close enough you will be able to determine what this grizzly is looking at in the water.
