WCI Arts Center Solo Show - "Birds of Hancock County, Illinois" • May 12th - June 6, 2015

Phil is currently working on a series of paintings for a solo show at the WCI Arts Gallery in Macomb, Illinois.

The title of the show is "Birds of Hancock County, Illinois". It will encompass birds from around his land, the Mississippi River and the local community.

 

 

WORK IN PROGRESS: My goal with this piece is to get a powerful "feel" of movement in the eagles wings. In this image the wings are just roughly blocked in for position and general color. Check back to see how this piece develops.
